Most of the pictures I make are of dogs because that’s what friends, family and friends of friends and family have asked me to draw.

(There are some cats too.)

The pictures here are roughly in date order, starting with Ben the ruby Cavalier King Charles spaniel who I drew on a whim with some old chunky pastels and on the wrong sort of paper. As more people asked for pictures, I spent Christmas and birthday Amazon vouchers on new materials and papers. Most of these pictures are in pastel, but there are some colouring pencil portraits as well.
