My name is Paul and I’m a middle aged bloke from England who is lucky enough to live in Weardale in County Durham (pronounced ‘weir’ as in the things on rivers, not ‘wear’ as in what you do with clothes).
When I’m not working to pay the bills, DIYing my way through the never-ending list of jobs that come with living in an old house, or walking Harvey and Millie, I like to wander with my camera and snap what I see. Most of those photos end up in the recycle bin, but my mum and dad like to see the ones that don’t, so that’s why I made this site.
Every now and then I also make pictures with coloured pencils or pastels. Most of these are of dogs, but sometimes I’ll turn my hand to something else. I don’t produce much, but I will post some of the pictures I like the most on this site.
And that’s all there is to it: photos and pictures that I used to post on Facebook for my mum and dad to see. I don’t do Facebook any more after tiring of the ads, and my folks don’t do Instagram. This website is the result of our collective fuddy duddiness.
